Choose the services

which will consolidate your actions and make the production in your company more effective and even.

  • Diagnosis means that you base on facts, and not conjectures while implementing Lean.
  • Workshops will prepare your workers and the company management to implement Lean Manufacturing.
  • Implementation of one or more Lean Basic Tools: 5S, TPM , SMED, Kaizen Blitz and Suggestion System will provide you Lean base. Lean Manufacturing!

Total Productive Maintenance. See also how to train personnel .

Somebody wittily defined TPM as Association of Machine Friends (Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Maszyn). TPM can be a great system – it is another term for Lean Manufacturing. But within Lean Basic Tools, we will propose you a narrower definition.  Let’s assume that it is a continuous process of machines which all the workers are involved in. Going through individual stages of TPM, you harmoniously develop workers' skills and improve machines. This leads to changes in the company culture. If you want to learn more about TPM (in Polish), we invite you to Library. Image

TPM contains 5S. It means that TPM implementation is a bigger challenge for you than 5S. Solid implementation of TPM, considering its narrower definition, takes 3-4 years. And its implementation on World Class Achievement Level takes even up to 10 years. Is it worth making such an effort? It is you who decide looking at specific results achieved by others. You can expect the following:

  1. increase in global productivity of your company by over 150% - it means that you produce more making less effort.
  2. improvement of machines capacity by 150% - it is not a joke. TPM should cause that the real capacity of machines in your company will exceed the nominal capacity.
  3. Reduction of production costs by 30%. Saved money will stay in your company. You can spend them on investments, and part of them on remuneration for all who helped you in implementing TPM.
  4. Decrease in the inventory level even by 50%. Further savings - you release frozen money.
  5. Brakedown reduction by 90% - you stop tearing you hair out after another “surprise” in the production hall.
  6. Decreased number of complaints by 75% and improved accuracy of deliveries – your customers will start being very fond of you and fill you with further orders.
  7. Reduced number of accidents – your workers will stop running away to England, and the National Labour Inspectorate will come in only for a cup of coffee.
  8. Improved process efficiency. This will allow you to think about the advanced Lean level, e.g. about Pull System or Production Smoothing System (Heijunka).

You will have to prepare solidly to implement TPM. Before you start the implementation, you should:

train personnel in your company;

TPM - oznakowanie maszyn

- visit other companies which have implemented TPM (we will make it possible if you decide to cooperate with Polish Productivity Center)

- establish TPM structure (steering committee, leaders, etc.)

- intertwine TPM with the company vision and inform all employees about this.

Now, you can select a pilot line and start the first step – Autonomous Maintenance.

If you do not want to become alone with this whole stuff and prise the open door, just implement TPM with Polish Productivity Center! We will accompany you at every step. You will get training materials, photos, presentations and examples which you can apply. We will conduct exemplary training courses and actions in a production hall. Our psychologist will teach you how to work with people during TPM implementation.
