KVP in Germany, Suggestion System in England. Kaizen element. It is a tricky method. You think it is as easy as pie. You place boxes for ideas, promise awards, announce a competition and wait. A month passed, some suggestions appeared, but the box covers with dust as time is passing. You wonder what to do.

fWhereas, the correctly implemented Suggestion System shall bring you the following benefits:

• delighted workers. In Japanese version, they are satisfied with the sole opportunity to participate in the company development. In Polish version, they are satisfied with more tangible awards, but not only.
• improved effectiveness without bearing significant financial investments;
• improved ergonomics, security and organization of workstands.

Kaizen, followed by Suggestion System, means simple, small changes introduced by small steps method.

The implementation of system is a multiple activity. Besides realizing the project, you prepare HR and Maintenance Departments for system implementation. You establish a proper structure as well. In short, it will look in the following way:

1. You prepare people.

• You train Problem Solving moderators
• and then, there is personnel department and leaders training .
• You do not forget about your workers and organize for them one hour’s meeting.

2. Simultaneously, you conduct Suggestion System Project on your own. Training course support the system at adequate stages.

• You and your enterprising team work out a system and regulations.  
• Your managing director appoints Suggestion System Cooridnator.
• You include Suggestion System in motivation system. HR Department helps you.
• You select areas and appoint leaders, you decide whether to test the system in the pilot area.
• You incorporate Maintenance Department into the system. You and Maintenance Department plan how to help with proposals requiring technical assistance (making a prototype, adjustment, etc.)
• Now, it is a time for publicity:  a brochure, boards, meetings for workers.
• Your Suggestion System has just started.
• Enterprising team works out ways to maintain and monitor the system.
